The word ‘Cashew’ has originated from the Portugues word Caju. Cashew nuts are extracted from the fruits of Cashew apples and it is widely cultivated in Brazil and other tropical region. The tree can grow up to 30 to 36 feet high and have spiral and elliptic manner leaves.
