Helichrysum essential oil is extracted through the steam distillation process from the herb Helichrysum angustifolium of the Asteraceae family. This herb can grow up to 24 inches and also is referred as Italian immortelle. It has the silver green leaves and dark yellow colored flowers. It has strong floral aroma with a honey and tea undertone. It is of pale yellow to red colored liquid with the watery viscosity.
