Cinnamon leaf oil is extracted through the steam distillation from the leaves of Cinnamomum zeylanicum. The tree is native to Indonesia and today, it is being widely cultivated in India and Sri Lanka. It can grow up to 45 feet tall but for commercial usage it kept up to 6 feet only.
